a mere twenty-five degrees and slight snowfall created a chilly photo shoot environment, but chad, jenny and i faced it! in charlevoix visiting jenny’s mom, i met up with this fun couple to snap a few engagement photos before they head back to grand rapids for Christmas. chad and jenny will have their wedding in early september, so keep a look out for more pictures of them!
high school sweethearts from the upper peninsula, zac and whitney are two people glowing with adoration for each other! we traveled around the allendale and grand rapids area a couple weeks ago to enjoy the sunshine and photograph engagement pictures. beautiful weather and a beautiful couple, who could have asked for a better photo shoot! zac and whitney are in the process of planning their wedding for next summer. can’t wait!
dawson way and joan brumm were married on july 14, 1951. fifty-eight years later and they’re still celebrating their marriage! spending the evening with family and friends downtown charlevoix at a concert in the band shell, my grandparents sat, holding hands, on a beautiful, hand painted charlevoix lighthouse bench. alongside them were newlyweds gerry and doc! grandpa’s sister was married three months ago to a jolly fellow, and they’re happy lovebirds today! i’m so blessed to have family that loves each other so much!

adrienne made her first trip to charlevoix this weekend, and nervous as she was, meeting grandpa wasn’t as bad as she had expected! the way clan loves her, and my cousin tyler is quite fond of her as well
