dick family {charlevoix, mi}

i have known carla, the mother of this family, for as long as i can remember. her parents have a house next door to my grandparents house on lake charlevoix, and we used to go visit every time she was home :) so when carla asked if i would photograph her family, i was honored! not only because she chose me, but also because it would give me a chance to get to know her family – this was, i think, the first time i’ve met her lovely children! steve and carla, you have a beautiful family and i had a great time with you! even though we had a few drops of rain that july 7, 2011, these photos turned out beautifully :) enjoy!
